The demands and high-visibility nature of this position require an expert with a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and who can begin contributing immediately.As a Compliance Process Manager in Enterprise Consumer Product (ECP) / Experience Platforms (XP) we are the first line of defense to help ensure our Company remains well-managed and avoids unnecessary this position you will play a key role in enhancing our compliance related risk management processes across Capital One and driving project and program delivery.The successful candidate will have basic technical knowledge along with foundational knowledge of process and project management and the ability to build relationships with business and risk partners. The ability to think from a customer back perspective is also critical. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and the opportunity to work with Executives to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to Capital One.Responsibilities:Partner with product and tech leaders by leveraging a trusted advisor model to support business initiatives issue management process improvement control testing and related risk assessment activitiesDevelop a deep understanding of business strategies products services and risk profileImplement improvements to reduce errors and make our processes more reliable and sustainableEnsure independent escalation of risk management gaps issues and concerns including emerging risks and regulatory focus areasConsult on Risks across the first line of defense business partners providing advice and guidance as neededParticipate in processes criticality assessments and process level assessmentsManage multiple tasks independently to meet deadlinesPartner as appropriate to communicate complex ideas concisely and convincingly adjustcommunication to the audience and comfortable with presenting to executive leadership. Collaborative values diverse perspectives and seeks insights from others. Brings energy to the group and rallies them around a common goalOther responsibilities as identified and as neededBasic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or military experienceAt least 4 years of experience in Staff management and trainingAt least 4 years of experience in Organizational development and performanceAt least 4 years of experience in Budget managementAt least 4 years of experience in Project or process managementPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Business Finance or Organizational Development6 years of experience in Project or Process management with experience managing visible projects which require the ability to manage interdisciplinary team members remove obstacles and influence appropriately5 years of experience in Communications planning and development including department communications leadership team meetings presentations memos and reports5 years of experience in Staff management and training5 years of experience in Organizational development and performanceAt this time Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean VA: $126700 - $144600 for Manager Process ManagementRichmond VA: $115200 - $131500 for Manager Process ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
