WHO YOULL WORK WITHYoull lead a high-performing team within Nikes North America Distribution Network leading its purchasing and supply planning team focused on strategic purchasing supplier relationship management and end-to-end supply planning. This position partners across Global Procurement Engineering Finance Facility Maintenance and Operations to enable data-driven decision-making and optimize inventory and supplier performance.Reporting to the Senior Director NA Engineering Facility Maintenance and Purchasing and Supply Planning you will manage Purchasing and Supply Planning Specialist while collaborating closely with executive leadership and cross-functional partners to deliver on operational excellence innovation and sustainability goals.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWere looking for a strategic people-first leader with deep expertise in procurement supply planning and supplier performance management. You bring experience driving cross-functional alignment and mentoring high-performing teams. You excel at identifying efficiencies implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance across complex supplier ecosystems.The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset proven experience leading within a matrixed organization and the ability to think both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Key qualifications:Minimum of 6 years experience in supply planning procurement or relevant work experience with at least 2 years in a leadership roleBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business or related field or equivalent combination of education experience or training; Masters or MBA preferredExtensive experience as a manager or senior-level role in supply chain demonstrating advanced knowledge of purchasing and procurement processesDemonstrated experience developing supplier strategies KPIs and risk mitigation programsExpert proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools (e.g. ERP systems Coupa inventory management software forecasting tools)Proven leadership skills and ability to achieve goals through influence and stakeholder alignmentStrong expertise in procurement inventory management logistics and demand forecastingExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data make strategic decisions develop new ways of working and deliver measurable outcomesDemonstrate the ability to implement procurement and supply planning systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiencyAdvanced familiarity with supplier scorecards KPIs and risk frameworksOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills capable of building strong relationships internally and externallyProven experience in project and vendor managementAdvanced knowledge of contract life cycle managementHighly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with MS Office-suite and advanced project management toolsProfessional certifications such as APICS (e.g. CPIM CSCP) or CPSM CSCMP are highly advantageousWHAT YOULL WORK ONYoull lead Nikes purchasing and supply planning team with a focus on strategy execution and team development. Youll ensure that procurement practices are aligned with organizational goals implement best-in-class supplier management processes and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Your leadership will drive strategic initiatives in purchasing supply planning and analytics all while supporting Nikes sustainability goals and meeting operational performance expectations.Your day-to-day will include:Leading mentoring and developing a team of purchasing and supply planning professionalsOwning the strategic direction for supplier segmentation contract lifecycle management and inventory planningMonitoring and optimizing supplier scorecards and performance tracking reportsOverseeing implementation of supplier scorecards VMI programs and supplier performance reviewsManaging supplier relationships including ongoing performance evaluation risk assessments issue resolution and fostering long-term partnershipsAligning cross-functional teams around procurement strategy and best practicesDirecting purchase orders and consumable inventory management and spend within a monthly budget using Coupa including the management of inventory productivity and availability and invoice reconciliationLeading RFPs negotiating contracts and benchmarking supplier capabilitiesChampioning sustainability and compliance across all purchasing activitiesBuilding and refining procurement methodology playbooks and sourcing analytics frameworksCollaborating with internal leaders to drive cost optimization and supply planning innovation initiativesAnalyze inventory levels demand forecasts and consumption patterns to optimize stock levels rationalize SKUs and reduce costsContinuously evaluate and improve procurement practices including identifying cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements.Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain such as supply disruptions or price fluctuationsWe offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers sign language interpreters accessible and single location for in-person interviews closed captioning and other reasonable modifications as needed.
