Our trucks are designed to perform under the toughest conditions.SUMMARYResponsible for the quality of all purchased material for all Oshkosh Corporation plants. Work closely with suppliers to develop and continuously improve quality processes and systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for all internal SQA operations budgets and personnelWork as a member in the Corrective Action Board (CAB)Report and chart supplier quality measuresImplement quality standards and serve as the management representative responsible for quality programsDevelop quality programs that exceed customer expectations and requirements while meeting cost targetsMaintain a positive professional working relationship with our customers and supplier baseWillingness to accept and delegate authorityAccurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and proceduresPerform make versus buy analysisResponsible for the development and continuous improvement of supplier certification programs.Responsible for supplier audits and corrective/preventative actionsDevelop audit training manualDevelop and supervise audit exchange programResponsible for coordinating supplier analysis of failed components including account debits as Interview supervise appraise and discipline employees. Acknowledge team accomplishments.Report and respond to supplier quality nonconformance issues. Develop and implement effective corrective/preventative actions utilizing structured planning methodsSupport housekeeping and safetyEnsure personnel in departments have adequate resources to perform their jobsCoordinate and resolve supplier quality issuesMust exhibit the ability to proactively plan and execute plans in accordance with established time constraintsMust be willing to complete additional advanced training/educational courses as BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Quality Business Operations Management or related field5 plus years of related work experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSTwo years advanced knowledge or training on Oshkosh products or extreme-duty vehiclesAdvanced training/experience in the use of statistical techniques and process applicationsMS Windows Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Project Lotus Notes E-mail and JDE experience is required within 3 months in this positionPay Range:$82000.00 - $132800.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
