Job Description
Position Title: Treasury Manager (Temp-to-Hire) Required Qualifications Candidates must possess: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field. Five (5) years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting within a government sector environment. Strong working knowledge of government finance, public fund investment, and debt issuance. Experience with debt management software and accounting packages. Demonstrated knowledge and experience issuing debt, including preparation of necessary documentation and presentations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with expert-level Excel skills, including spreadsheet development and data manipulation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in training and/or managing employees. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality at every level. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Candidate Competencies Ideal candidates will demonstrate: Analytical and strategic thinking. High ethical standards and sound judgment. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills. Ability to develop processes, policies, and internal controls related to treasury management.
