Manager, Yield and Programmatic Operations at Best Buy

About the RoleAs the Manager of Yield and Programmatic Operations at Best Buy Ads youll lead the charge in optimizing our retail media networks programmatic advertising performance and revenue generation. This hands-on role combines technical expertise in ad serving platforms with strategic thinking around yield management and programmatic execution. Youll work at the intersection of technology and business driving pricing strategies managing floor optimization and ensuring seamless programmatic deal execution across PMP and PG channels.This role is hybrid which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield Minnesota or New York City and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.What youll doDrive yield optimization strategies across Best Buys advertising inventory including floor price management pricing model development and exception handling to maximize revenueExecute and optimize programmatic deals across Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) channels using Google Ad Manager and MagniteBuild and maintain forecasting models to predict inventory availability pricing trends and revenue opportunities across programmatic channelsPartner closely with Ad Sales teams to structure custom programmatic solutions and pricing packages that meet advertiser needs while optimizing yieldCollaborate with Ad Operations to ensure smooth campaign execution troubleshoot technical issues and implement process improvementsManage relationships with SSPs DSPs and technology partners to stay current with platform capabilities and industry best practicesBasic QualificationsBachelors degree in business Marketing Analytics Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience4 years of hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager and Magnite/SSP platforms including campaign setup optimization and troubleshooting3 years of experience executing programmatic deals specifically PMP and PG deals in a retail media or digital advertising environment3 years of experience in yield management including floor price optimization pricing strategy development and exception handling2 years of experience working directly with Ad Sales and Ad Operations teams in a collaborative environmentStrong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to connect technical execution to business outcomes and revenue impactPreferred QualificationsExperience with Criteos retail media platform and capabilities2 years of experience working at or directly with advertising agenciesKnowledge of header bidding prebid and advanced yield optimization techniquesUnderstanding of attribution models and incrementality measurement in retail mediaWhats in it for youWere committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
