They are trial attorneys who excel at probate and care deeply about their team communities and the clients who trust them to protect and preserve the legacies their loved ones intended.We seek an exceptional Managing Attorney or an experienced 3 - 6 year Probate Litigator who is ready to step into a leadership role at their office in Walnut Creek California. This is an opportunity for a trusts and estates litigator to help shape the next chapter of the firms growth backed by industry-recognized leadership a values-driven culture a strong operational infrastructure and a reputation that truly opens doors.Duties/Responsibilities:Oversee and manage probate trust and estate litigation matters including will contests trust disputes fiduciary litigation and related conflictsLead and mentor associate attorneys and legal staff within the San Diego officeDevelop litigation strategies and oversee case progression from intake through trial or settlementAct as lead counsel in hearings mediations and court proceedingsCollaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and client relationship developmentMaintain high-level client service and ensure communication and outcomes align with client expectationsParticipate in marketing efforts with dedicated in-house supportQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive member of the California State Bar in good standing3 - 6 years of experience in probate trust and estate litigationPrior experience supervising or mentoring attorneys preferredStrong understanding of California probate law trust administration and estate planningExceptional litigation case management and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships and lead a legal teamCompensation & Benefits:Salary $200000 - $300000Plus a yearly bonus based on the firms performance and employee performanceIn addition potential origination bonusesDedicated marketingTop 100 - Trust and Estate Litigation Super Lawyers 2017 - 2024Comprehensive health dental and vision insurance.401(k)Generous paid time off (PTO) and holidays.Professional development opportunities including CLE programs and bar association memberships.A supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for advancement.
