Job SummaryThe Commit Partnership seeks an experienced strategic and relationship-driven leader to serve as the Managing Director (MD) of District Strategy & Partnerships. This role leads Commits district-facing work ensuring our supports are deeply responsive to each districts unique context while maintaining coherence across the organization.The MD is responsible for developing and executing the overarching strategy for how Commit stewards supports and strengthens district partnerships and for managing the team that operationalizes this vision with excellence and consistency. As a member of Commits Executive Team the MD contributes to organization-wide strategy alignment and decision-making to ensure Commits work delivers lasting impact across Dallas County and beyond.Core PurposeTo build and sustain a high-functioning system for differentiated district partnership that bridges organizational strategy with district needs. The MD ensures that support from across our core pillars of Instruction Talent and Leadership are effectively translated into each districts specific context driving stronger outcomes for students.Salary Range: $150000-$182000Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Strategic LeadershipDevelop and implement the overarching strategy for Commits district partnership work defining how the organization supports and holds accountability for district progress.Create a coherent framework for differentiated support that honors district context whilemaintainingalignment with organizational priorities.Collaborate with the Chief and other Managing Directors to ensure seamless integration across Commits core pillars of Instruction Talent and Leadership.Serve on the executive team to contribute to cross-organizational strategy alignment and culture-building.Establish and track success metrics for district partnership quality impact and satisfaction embeddingcontinuous improvement routines.2. Team Leadership & ManagementManage the team responsible for executing the district partnership vision ensuring clarity alignment andstrong performanceacross district portfolios.Cultivate a collaborative high-trust culture where team members are empowered to lead with autonomy and accountability.Coach and develop team members to strengthen their capacity for systems-level strategy adaptive leadership and relationship management.3. District Relationship StewardshipServe as a senior relationship manager and thought partner to key district leaders ensuring Commits support model is seen as both responsive and strategic.Oversee structures that ensure Commitsexpertiseacross Instruction Talent and Leadership are effectively translated to meet district needs and priorities.Create mechanisms for cross-district learning helping the organization and team benefit from shared insights and successful practices.4. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
