Job TitleManaging Director Multifamily( Description SummaryThe Managing Director serves as the market leader for a designated sub-region providing oversight across the Seattle and Portland residential partnership with Regional Property Managers the role is accountable for achieving operational and financial targets delivering high-quality service maintaining strong client partnerships and ensuring sustained profitability and growth.Job DescriptionESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Create value through new business growth in Residential Portfolios cross sell service lines and geographic locations for additional revenue for the firm identify and pursue expansion of service opportunities with existing clientsDevelop/implement/enhance marketing plans for Residential Portfolios organize/lead teamproposals for new business while leveraging relationships to maximize success rateParticipate in monthly calls to share best practices and produce leads for residential clients in multiple marketsEstablish and monitor appropriate checks and balances to ensure high level of quality in operations while ensuring that Residential teams understand and exceed Client goals and objectives for each propertyNegotiate property management agreements with all clientsEnsure compliance with all management agreements service contracts and accounting policies and procedures as well as SOC controlsReview and approve expenditures which exceed the authority level established for property manager per the management agreement or C&Ws SOC controlsGuarantee timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reportsMaintain relationships with Clients key decision makersVerify the existence of property procedures including Operations Manual Tenant Handbook and Emergency Procedures per C&Ws or Clients policies and proceduresCollaborate with client accounting corporate accounting finance TQC and other functional leadersDevelop the most profitable and efficient personnel model to staff each assetParticipate in national Residential task forces and/or committeesDeliver financial results (P&L responsibility) as well as preparing market level Residential budgets including monthly variances and forecastingCOMPETENCIES:Financial AcumenCustomer Focus (internal and external) and Communication Proficiency (oral and written)Time Management Skills and People Management SkillsLeadership and proven experience in identifying developing and motivating team membersBusiness Development and proven track record in generating new businessExtensive experience in analyzing and negotiating commercial lease and/or contract languageDevelop the most profitable and efficient personnel model to staff each assetExcellent negotiation skills and be able to meet deadlinesIMPORTANT EDUCATIONBachelors Degree Graduate Degree preferredIMPORTANT EXPERIENCE10 years of Property Management experience10 years of Management experienceCPM and/or RPA comparable experience in a Senior Leadership roleCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs generally including health vision and dental insurance flexible spending accounts health savings accounts retirement savings plans life and disability insurance programs and paid and unpaid time away from addition to a comprehensive benefits package Cushman and Wakefield provide eligible employees with competitive pay which may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location date of hire total hours worked job type business line and applicability of collective bargaining agreements.The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.The compensation for the position is: $ 191250.00 - $225000.00Cushman & Wakefield is an Equal Opportunity employer to all protected groups including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
