Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and review manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment. You will support the manufacture and assembly of both new and existing products, aiming to enhance production efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and safety.ResponsibilitiesPlan and design manufacturing processes to improve the assembly of products.Determine necessary equipment and tooling to achieve manufacturing goals.Develop and implement process improvement projects focusing on efficiency, material yield, safety, and cost.Lead small teams in process improvement efforts.Provide guidance on engineering design concepts and specification requirements.Ensure compliance with regulations and apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.Investigate and suggest corrective actions to ensure product quality and resolve quality issues.Essential SkillsProficiency in CAD experience and process improvement.Strong background in manufacturing engineering and lean manufacturing.Experience with CNC programming, robotics, and tooling & fixture design.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in a related Engineering field with 2-5 years of experience.Ability to apply engineering concepts and solve problems of moderate to difficult scope.Proficient in continuous improvement methods like pull systems and process mapping.Knowledge of data structures, database programming, and CAD/CAM systems.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browser.Work EnvironmentThe position involves manufacturing hoses for automotive companies and agriculture equipment. The work environment encourages growth and development within the engineering field.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Batesville, MS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
