These products become part of legendary Honda automobile engines – engines known for efficient operation, reduced friction, higher output, and enhanced gas mileage. CAPT has also solidified their place as a supplier in the Electric Vehicle market through our chassis parts business enhancements.As a CAPT associate you will receive EXCELENT pay and GREAT benefits for you and your family! Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Please note: This role does not involve design engineering responsibilities.Responsibilities: Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs while applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materialsDevelop manufacturing processes by studying product requirementsImproving manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements and equipment layoutAssures product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities and establishing standards.Provide manufacturing decision making information by calculating labor and material costsPrepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trendsProvides Engineering information by answering questions and requestsMaintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulationsKeeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair servicesMaintains product and process databaseCompletes design and development projectsMaintains professional and technical knowledgeContributes to team effortsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in the Engineering field or equivalent engineering experience (2-5 years)Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods by observing and working on the production floor. Must be able to make adjustments on equipment and help maintain the equipment.Computer ProficiencyRobotic ExperienceMust be capable of maintaining a preventative maintenance scheduleAnalyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum proficiency.Collect and analyze data to implement improvement countermeasures by comparing before and after baselines and results.Must be able to communicate in written and verbal forms to Supervisors, Engineers, and General Associates in a professional manner.Must be able to lift/carry 40lbs. Have the ability to access any area of the production floor. Assist production with manufacturing trouble including some repairs.
