Manufacturing Engineer - Process Planning We're looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys solving problems on the shop floor and making processes run better, faster, and more consistently. This role sits at the center of engineering, quality, and production. You'll take new and existing product designs and turn them into efficient, repeatable manufacturing processes that support high-precision machining operations. If you like being close to the product, working with CNC equipment, and seeing your improvements show up in real output, this is a strong fit. What you'll be doing Review part designs to make sure they can be manufactured efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively Build and define end-to-end manufacturing processes for machined components and assemblies Develop tooling, fixtures, and gage requirements for new and existing parts Create and maintain process routes and BOMs in the ERP system Review engineering changes and update process documentation as needed Work closely with design engineers, quality, machinists, and supervisors to improve production flow and reduce issues Support root cause analysis and corrective actions when quality issues come up What you bring BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) 5+ years in a Manufacturing Engineering role supporting CNC machining environments Strong understanding of machining principles, work holding, and machine shop practices CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred) and comfort reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings Experience with ERP/MRP systems and structured manufacturing workflows Solid understanding of measurement tools, tolerances, and quality standards Comfortable working independently and collaborating across teams Clear communication skills, both written and verbal Why this role stands out You'll have real ownership over how parts are built.
