Job OverviewThe Special Projects Engineer will be the primary engineering resource tasked with overseeing the systems process and infrastructure needs for special requests.Highlights of your roleDeveloping and implementing manufacturing processes standard work for special requests and maintaining process documentationExecuting systems and physical pilot runs to ensure the correct infrastructure is in place for production on new offeringsWorking hand-in-hand with the Signature Services Team and R&D Designers and other functional areas to ensure special request orders are built to the customers exact specificationsVerifying special calcs bill of materials and other process documentation to ensure an efficient flow of information throughout the build processResearch and test manufacturing processes and equipment to safely and efficiently build the special request to the customers specificationsSupporting special request units through the production process assisting production as neededAssist in analyzing the current systems and process capabilities and work with all necessary support areas to implement improvementsProgram Biesse CNCs to accommodate non-standard fabrications for special requestsSupporting process and equipment changes throughout production ensuring EHS Quality and Production are trained and documentation is completedYoure a good fit if you have (or if you can)Bachelors degree in Engineering is requiredExperience participating in projects preferredPrior experience in Modern manufacturing is preferredStrong oral and written communication skills are requiredKnowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite AutoCAD software is preferredProficiency in ICIM is requiredWe invite you to See Yourself at MarvinFrom people to products Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
