Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with 4+ years of experience in industrial assembly lines, preferably in the HVAC industry, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes focused on assembly line operations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Quality, Scheduling, Design Engineering, and sheet metal Fabrication.

  • This role involves driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools and presenting solutions to higher management.
  • The candidate will also take ownership of projects, acting as the lead and primary point of contact with internal and external contractors and contributors.
  • Identifying bottlenecks, implementing solutions.
  • A strong background in 5S, Kaizen, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques is essential, along with the ability to lead and deliver results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 4+years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry or industrial assembly lines.
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with Engineering Change (EC) processes, including review of assembly drawings and coordination of new product implementation (NPI) for assembly production.
  • Skilled in creating Work Instructions and Operational Method Sheets (OMS).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills to interact with higher management and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong background in Lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Gemba, and Kaizen.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • May be required to perform other related duties as needed to meet the needs of the organization.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with assembly line operations and sheet metal fabrication processes.
