We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the worlds toughest challenges like protecting the environment making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.A day in the Life:Develop and Improve Systems for Automating Liquid Handling lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions for automating liquid handling covering system integration programming and robotics.Ensure successful installation development and integration of liquid handling automation systems such as Tecan and Hamilton instruments with existing infrastructure.Plan and conduct thorough systems testing and solve technical issues.Work closely with Technical Operations Engineering Production and Quality teams to align automation initiatives with strategic goals.Analyze current processes to find opportunities for automation to improve performance and increase efficiency.Work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities and role responsibilities.Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and apply them to improve our systems.Debug failures off the line perform root-cause analysis and update product designs as required.Complete process engineering changes in OCPLM and update documentation and SOPs as needed.Keys to Success:EducationBS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial) or equivalent experience in Mechanical Automation or Manufacturing Engineering.Experience5 years of automation experience in a manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of engineering change control processes such as Agile and OCPLM.Familiarity with mechanical design tools such as SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.Solid statistical analysis skills and ability to perform Design of Experiments (DOE) using JMP software.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to drive and complete Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCMs).Excellent teamwork collaboration and communication skills with a proactive and involved approach.Prior background in a biotech setting preferred.Expertise in programming and integration solutions with liquid handling systems preferred.BENEFITS:We offer competitive remuneration annual incentive plan bonus healthcare and a range of employee benefits.
