Key Responsibilities Develop evaluate and improve manufacturing processes utilizing knowledge of product design materials and parts tooling and production equipment capabilities assembly methods and quality control standards. Design and implement tooling fixtures and equipment to optimize production efficiency and product quality. Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing requirements developing production plans and ensuring smooth transition from design to production. Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects non-conformances and production issues implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions process flow charts FMEAs and control plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. R&D Quality Production) to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and implement Lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational performance. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Mechanical Industrial or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience in process optimization lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for fixture and tooling design. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes materials and equipment. Experience with root cause analysis and statistical process control (SPC). Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Experience with advanced manufacturing simulation software (e.g. Arena FlexSim). Proficiency in a programming language (e.g. Python SQL) for data analysis or automation. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. IoT digital twins AI in manufacturing).
