Provide a range of engineering expertise and management to operate and maintain the integrity of the Electric Transmission and Distribution System. Provide technical support to client and associate support staff to ensure development and deployment of efficient application systems utilizing established standards procedures and methodologies. Utilize a broad knowledge of business and engineering principles and practices including financial and cost management. Supporting supervision of field forces supervision/direction of craft/construction and/or engineering personnel in a union environment work management project management as well as other technical and administrative duties. Coordinate and assemble information and a variety of reports required for regulatory internal and senior leadership review.Job Responsibilities Provide a range of engineering expertise to operate and maintain the integrity of the relevant system(s)Oversee and directly supervise the work of craft/union field forces and/or engineering technicians in a union workforce environmentServe as a representative of PSE&G management in the face of the customer as well as other external stakeholders (NJDOT local municipalities county etc.) - this includes customer inquiries coordination of efforts technical assistance and emergency responseProvide design analysis and maintenance support of the relevant infrastructure and/or programs to ensure development and deployment of solutions utilizing established standards procedures and methodologiesPerform support in conjunction of on-call duties for division and system emergenciesJob Specific Qualifications Bachelors in STEM discipline relevant to required discipline2years of relevant work experienceKnowledge of Electric Transmission and Delivery operationsProficient in relevant Microsoft Office applicationsMust possess the ability to read applicable technical documents and/or schematics.A valid U.S. drivers license with a safe and satisfactory driver historyOn call 24/7 hours to assist during system emergency situations and restorationMust be willing and able to perform regularly scheduled weekend and holiday work in conjunction with quality checks and reporting requirementsDesiredExperience in relevant technical field Advanced degree technical training or E.I.T Certification or P.E. licenseSome positions at PSEG require access to information covered by the Department of Energys regulation 10 CFR 810 (Part 810).
