Our team is responsible for delivering worldclass missile systems through innovative manufacturing solutions.What You Will Be DoingAs the Manufacturing Engineer Sr you will be responsible for advancing tool design and manufacturing processes that enable rapid reliable production of the THAAD system.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Develop and refine tooling designs to meet production requirements.Provide DesignforManufacture input and transition new or revised designs from development to production.Lead manufacturing process validation activities and drive costreduction initiatives to closure.Identify production risks and implement effective mitigation plans.Support earnedvalue management and resolve tooling or manufacturing issues with internal and supplier teams.Why Join UsThe ideal candidate is a collaborative problemsolver with deep technical expertise in manufacturing engineering. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
