Manufacturing EOL Repair Technician at Zoox

As a Zoox Manufacturing EOL Repair Technician you will be part of a team responsible for the diagnosis repair and testing of our Zoox vehicles at our manufacturing facility. Being comfortable with mechanical electrical and computer systems is a must. There will be regular use of hand power and diagnostics tools along with custom equipment used to improve safety quality and reduce repair time. Your feedback from diagnosis and repairs will go directly to your leads to help refine key systems and move Zoox towards mass production.In this role you will:Work closely with leads and other technicians on vehicle repair activitiesDiagnose/Troubleshoot on-vehicle issuesComplete daily tasks to ensure on-time completion of the projectPerform execution of on-vehicle testing involving both hardware and softwareProvide feedback to the necessary team members to assist in future vehicle developmentRegularly organize and maintain the build areaWork within all Environmental Health and Safety guidelinesIdentify areas of improvement in quality efficiency and safetyQualificationsExperience working as a technician or in a manufacturing environmentExperience with basic hand and power toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of basic electrical theoryFamiliar with electrical schematics and harness drawingsFamiliarity with CAN/LIN network systemsAutomotive/OEM experience is a plusFamiliarity with Linux/Bash is a plusComputer Science knowledge is a plusAssociate Degree or Certificate in Automotive Technology$45 - $55 an hourBase Salary RangeThere are three major components to compensation for this position: salary Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling as well as positioning within a level is determined by a range of factors including but not limited to a candidates relevant years of experience domain knowledge and interview performance.
