Manufacturing Estimator – Hanover, PA The Opportunity: Our client is a high-tech (metals-based) contract manufacturer who has hired us to seek out a Manufacturing Estimator for their Hanover, PA location. This position is responsible for preparing and submitting accurate quotes by collaborating with internal teams to ensure competitive, timely estimates that meet customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Review customer documents, drawings, and RFQs to develop accurate cost estimates Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to determine manufacturing feasibility Compile estimates including cost, scope, labor times, and outsourced service requirements Coordinate with Procurement to obtain competitive supplier pricing Qualifications Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Preferred: Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD (STEP, IGES, DWG, DXF, PDF file formats) Experience with estimation software Professional certification or training in manufacturing estimating Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment Check out our website at www.availasearch.com!
