Manufacturing Manager (Manufacturing Manager-General)Company:Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services is looking for a KC-46 Maintenance Mod and Retrofit Manager to lead the Operations Team for the modification of the KC-46 at Boeings newest state of the art facility in Jacksonville FL .The Boeing KC-46 Pegasus is an American military aerial refueling and strategic military transport aircraft developed by Boeing from its 767 jet airliner. The tanker was selected by the United States Air Force (USAF) as the winner in the KC-X tanker competition to replace older Boeing KC-135. Position is located in Jacksonville FL.Position Responsibilities:This management position is planned to be an Operations Manager sharing the responsibility for the current installation KC-46 Modification(s) and future work awarded to the KC-46 at the Boeing Jacksonville site.Individual will manage salary and hourly technicians and support personnel performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.Develops and executes integrated organizational plans policies procedures goals and objectives.Acquires resources for organizational activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.Manages develops and motivates salary and hourly technicians and support personnel.Responsible for adherence to and oversite of established processes accurate and timely work recording and contractual/regulatory compliance.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):A&P License1 years of experience working in a FAA Repair Station environment5 years of experience working with maintenance and modifications3 years of experience in a leadership or management roleWilling to work variable shifts including weekends and overtimePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and/or Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) customer3 years of experience working with the KC46 Tanker program5 years of experience working with Government customers5 years of experience implementing continuous process improvement lean processes and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environmentDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.ShiftThis position is for variable shiftPay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
