The right candidate will possess strong leadership skills tocoach mentor and motivatetheir team while determining the best practices and implementing best practices on the shift.This is a hands-on boots-on-the-ground engaging and involved leadership role.The Production Supervisor will lead by example and ensure to hit targets (in order of priority) in safety quality service cost and production. Problem-solving skillswill be key in this role!Key Responsibilities of the position:Direct supervision of daily operations such as staffing quality control and schedule adherenceHold the team accountable for following established procedures and conforming to conduct standards.Be an enabler for the team to drive process improvements. Ensure effective employee relationsBalance quality safety morale productivity and cost to achieve positive results in all areasResponsible for the effective training qualification proficiency and overall performance management of employeesBuild a team that is dedicated and committed to excellence with open communication where all team members have a voiceIdentify opportunities for improvements and speak up on the challenges and opportunitiesWhat does Dura-Line need from youYour commitment to being a reliable and punctual team playerApproximately 3-5 years of production experience in manufacturing roles having direct reports and shop floor accountabilityExperience with scrap management safety behaviors and quality controls increasing site efficiency employee engagement and turnover reductionStrong leadership skills adaptability in a dynamic environment and the ability to establish priorities with a sense of urgencyFamiliar with workforce scheduling overtime management and other labor deployment practicesExcellentmulti-tasking skillswith the ability to handle multiple projects with multiple deadlines demonstrating an ability to prioritize between what is urgent and what is importantHands-on experience working in a lean manufacturing plant (5S tier meetings Six Sigma continuous improvement Gemba walk lead standard work) is a plusResults-oriented thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver information whether good or bad.Associate degree or higher preferred but not requiredProficient in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) to complete required daily and monthly reports on attendance machine efficiency scrap process improvement etc. (ERP/SAP experience is a plus!)What is in it for you Our Amazing Benefits!The compensation for this position will typically range from $66000-$107000. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills experience geographical location and internal equity.The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
