Manufacturing Project Engineer III | Lockheed Martin

Role Overview: Support the successful execution of production and capital projects by driving new product integration, production planning, scheduling, budgeting, and operational readiness. This role helps ensure production programs scale efficiently, stay on schedule, and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support new product integration (NPI) activities from development through production
  • Plan and execute CAPEX projects, including budget management, tracking, and reporting
  • Develop and maintain the production Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Align production schedules with program goals and operational priorities
  • Support capacity planning and production scaling efforts
  • Contribute to production and operations strategic planning initiatives
  • Identify, assess, and help mitigate program and operational risks
  • Support project proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to support project execution
  • Provide occasional weekend or off-hour support to maintain production schedule commitments
  • Travel as needed, up to 25%
