Job DescriptionJob DescriptionQuality Control InspectorOur client, a leader in Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication, Metal Stamping, Powder Coating and Contract Manufacturing, located in Mundelein IL has immediate openings for Quality Control Inspectors.Responsibilities Include:Inspecting incoming and outgoing products and material using basic test and measuring equipment.Ensures the consistent quality of production (stamping and fabrication) through manufacturing practices and systems.Provide the necessary documentation to ensure quality excellence.QA Inspector will strive to achieve Quality Assurance operation objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews.Revolves quality issues, complete audits.Determine system improvements as well as implementing change.Skills and Experience: Must have experience with measuring equipment: handheld gauges such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and optical comparators.Two or more years' experience with close tolerance mechanical inspections.Must be able to use measurements to determine if blueprint specifications are met.Experience interpreting blueprints.Knowledge of GD& T.Must be able to perform visual and dimensional inspection of purchased parts, tight-tolerance machined parts, stamped and fabricated parts.Must have experience with file inspection reports and quality documentation.CMM experience a definite plus.Strong Math SkillsKnowledge of ISO 9001 (*Knowledge of IATF16949 would be a bonus)Experience with Metal Stamping and/or Fabrication (Laser Cutting, Forming, Welding and Assembly Processes)Strong Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) Labor Solutions Professional is an equal opportunity employer.
