We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Plant Sr. HR Generalist or HR Manager to join our Manufacturing team. This is a permanent position with a focus on driving the company's HR initiatives in alignment with our business goals. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner, responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, strategic planning, and training & development. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR matters.
  • Implement and revise company's compensation program.
  • Create and revise job descriptions.
  • Conduct annual salary surveys.
  • Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and revise the company's handbook on policies and procedures.
  • Perform benefits administration.
  • Maintain affirmative action programs.
  • Oversee exit interviews.
  • Maintain department records and reports.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, employee relations, etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • People oriented and results driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.
  • Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.
  • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
