Responsibilities:Supervise casting production personnel in day-to-day operations at our Blue Castings site in Arlington WAResponsible for establishing workstation assignments employee training overtime assignments and back-up for absent employeesMaintain shop schedule status to ensure on-time deliveryProvide first level escalation support to employees regarding HR issues (employee relations workers compensation disciplinary actions timecards PTO requests)Drive Continuous Improvement opportunities to improve process reduce cycle and set-up timesMaintain shop measuring equipment calibration program ensuring all relative equipment is calibrated according to scheduleImplement and maintain 5S ensuring a lean clean and safe work environmentEnsure all team members follow work instructions quality requirements and processesProvide continued training and skills development for team members mature cross-training matrix for coverage depthProvide coaching and early career mentoring and conduct performance reviewsQualifications:Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space!4 years minimum of management experience4 years minimum experience in castingExperience building a high performing team.Demonstrated experience utilizing KPIs to improve performanceAbility to maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of trust respect inclusion and integrityStrong communication skillsMust have a continuous improvement attitudeSelf-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion datesDesired:4 years of manufacturing experience in aerospace automotive or a closely related industryExperience working in a foundry focused on highly engineered high-quality castings and exceptional customer delivery performance as key drivers; investment casting preferredStrong knowledge and applied experiences in Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and Toyota Production SystemExperience operating in an AS9100 environmentCompensation Range for:WA applicants is $42.55-$59.57Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDont meet all desired requirements Studies have shown that some people are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single desired qualification.
