As a Manufacturing Technician with the Medtronic Energy and Component Center you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability repair and timely preventative maintenance of equipment utilized in the production of batteries used in life-saving cardiac devices. You will work within a dynamic team of production assemblers engineers and other technician colleagues to achieve daily manufacturing goals and continuously improve our operations.This role is for an overnight shift position: Sun-Thu10pm-6am and requires the ability to work within a cleanroom environment.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Devises fabricates installs tests and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.Installs repairs and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.Devises fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.Required Knowledge and Experience:Requires minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Requires high school diploma or equivalent.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
