JOB DESCRIPTION

Manufacturing Quality Technician

The Manufacturing Quality Technician is responsible for performing and documenting inspections on assigned molding machines in accordance with the QAR and/or Control Plan. This role involves using basic gauging equipment such as calipers, height gauges, and vision systems to ensure that products meet QA requirements. Additionally, candidates will communicate any issues encountered throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on assigned molding machines.
  • Document inspection results in accordance with the QAR and/or Control Plan.
  • Use basic gauging equipment, including calipers, height gauges, and vision systems.
  • Ensure products meet QA requirements.
  • Communicate any problems encountered during the process.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn the manufacturing process.
  • Ability to work from written and verbal work instructions.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in performing inspections.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • General labor and production experience.
  • Experience in warehouse and materials handling.

Work Environment:

Work is conducted in a Clean Room environment, requiring daily gowning up with smocks, hairnets, and beard nets. The facility operates with both day and night shifts: A and C shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and B and D shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with alternating days.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethel, VT.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.85 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
