Manufacturing Technician- All Experience LevelsFull-TimeColumbia SCCompensation DOE: Up to $33/hr.Seeking Manufacturing Technicians across multiple skill levels from entry-level operators to advanced and lead-level technicians. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment and want to grow their career within a structured advancement path.As a Manufacturing Technician youll support daily production through machine operation assembly inspection troubleshooting equipment setup and continuous improvement initiatives. Depending on your experience you may also take on training leadership or technical problem-solving responsibilities.What Youll Do as a Manufacturing Technician (Level-Appropriate):Core Responsibilities (All Levels):Operate and monitor production machinery and equipmentFollow SOPs safety rules and quality standardsPerform assembly inspection and material handling tasksMaintain clean organized and safe work areasReport defects downtime and equipment issuesIntermediate Responsibilities (Tech IIIII):Operate multiple machines within a production cellPerform in-process inspections to ensure product qualityTroubleshoot minor equipment or process issuesAccurately record production data and downtimeSupport continuous improvement and 5S initiativesAssist with training entry-level techniciansAdvanced Responsibilities (Tech IIIIV):Set up adjust and perform minor maintenance on machineryAssist Engineering with root cause analysis and corrective actionsLead floor improvement projects and process optimizationsMonitor performance related to quality delivery and costServe as a technical resource for other team membersLead-Level Responsibilities (Tech IV):Provide day-to-day direction for technicians on the shiftCoordinate workflow to meet production schedulesTroubleshoot complex equipment issuesPartner with Maintenance Engineering and Quality teamsTrack KPIs including Safety FTQ Delivery and CostChampion lean practices and team-based problem solvingWhat Were Looking for in Manufacturing Technicians:Minimum for Tech I (Entry-Level):High school diploma or GED01 year in manufacturing preferredAbility to follow instructions and work safelyPreferred for Tech IIIII:15 years of manufacturing experienceMechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting abilityFamiliarity with lean manufacturing quality systems and 5SPreferred for Tech IV (Senior/Lead):5 years manufacturing experience including leadership exposureStrong mechanical and problem-solving skillsExperience with process optimization and lean toolsTechnical certificate or associate degree a plusPerks & Benefits:Clear promotion pathway from Tech I through Tech IVFull benefits package availableHands-on work in a clean safety-driven environmentTraining and professional development opportunitiesSend your resume to Kelly MaxwellCareer Transitions: Find Your Dream Job or Hire the Best TalentCareer Transitions a Morale Group Company is a leading recruiting agency that specializes in helping employers find their next critical hire.
