If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America - we want to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLEThe Market Manager is an individual contributor role with territory management and technical responsibilities.The overall responsibilities of this role are to: develop and sustain a business strategy designed to gain or protect market share, provide basic technical service to Amrize customers in territory, lead the territory marketing and sales efforts within the business unit, monitor the quality and performance of Amrize and competitive products in the territory.Position involves travel as needed to meet with customers and attend business unit and district meetings.Employee must be based in Mississippi or Northern Louisiana, relocation to the area is expected to be completed within the first 100 days of employment, as the employee will be managing our cement product lines.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHCreates clear business strategy for key accounts (e.g. increase share, account penetration, protect existing base, etc.)Develops, maintains and strengthens customer relationshipsDevelops revenue and product goals which are time-bound, realistic and achievableUnderstands how to deliver value to customers (Performance Innovations if applicable) and uses value selling strategiesIdentifies and understands competitive landscapeDevelops plans to maximize potential of accounts, and efficient use of time; uses good account management practicesGathers territory intelligence on all market products and creates a realistic succession pipeline of customers that can be sold if other volumes are lostParticipates actively in trade associations as requiredTracking and management of major sales opportunities as they progress through the selling processIdentification and elevation of customer volume abnormalities with proposed resolutionEffective management of relationships between logistics, manufacturing, pricing and other key issuesDemonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviorsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: Bachelor's degreeField of Study Preferred: Business, Engineering, or equivalent degreeRequired Work Experience: 3-5 years in the construction materials industryRequired Training/Certifications: Sandler sales training and certification preferredTravel Requirements: 10%Additional Requirements:Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
