Marketing Intern


Department:  Marketing

Reports to:    Marketing Director

Supervises:   None


Must already be authorized to work in the United States. Relocation is not provided.

Summary for the Marketing Intern: 


The Marketing Intern will support the execution of day-to-day marketing activities with a focus on social media and email marketing. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in content creation, campaign coordination, and digital marketing fundamentals. The intern will work closely with the marketing team to help maintain a consistent brand presence, support ongoing campaigns, and contribute to projects that drive customer engagement and awareness.

 

Job Requirements for the Marketing Intern:

 

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to tone and detailFamiliarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and general best practicesBasic understanding of email marketing concepts (lists, segmentation, subject lines, performance metrics)Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesComfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentInterest in learning digital marketing tools and analytics platforms


 

Specific Job Functions for the Marketing Intern:

 

Assist in planning, drafting, and scheduling social media content across platformsSupport email marketing efforts, including formatting campaigns, reviewing content, and preparing distribution listsHelp monitor and report on social media and email performance metrics (engagement, open rates, click-through rates)Conduct light research on content ideas, trends, and competitor activityAssist with maintaining and updating website content as neededSupport campaign execution, including promotions, community initiatives, and product highlightsCollaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency across channelsProvide general administrative and project support for the marketing team
