Hanover Research -Marketing Operations ManagerArlington, VARemote or Hybrid OpportunityHanover Research is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager who will play a critical role inoptimizingand scaling our marketing operations for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Reporting to theSeniorDirector of Marketing Operations, this role willmanage the systems, processes, data, and performance measurement needed to make marketing efficient, scalable,and impactful.The roleblends deep knowledge of marketing strategy with technical execution,and the ideal candidate must have prior experience working in a fast-paced, multi-channel marketing department and proven success managing data and marketing tech platforms.ResponsibilitiesMarketingAutomationCreateand maintainHubSpottemplates, playbooks, and automation frameworks to scale marketing programs efficiently.Develop andimplementmarketingautomationstrategiesaligned with business goals and best practices.Build andmaintainmarketing campaigns andkey components includingmanagingcampaign data backfills,creatingHubSpotworkflows,forms,and pop ups,andbuildingWordPress landing pages.Pull all send lists for email campaignsandbuildand executeemailnurture campaignworkflowsin HubSpot.Build HubSpot Inbound Lead Scoring to prioritizesales'outreachand maintain HubSpot Lead Alert allocation toprovide rapid marketing insight visibility to the sales teams.Troubleshoot and update HubSpot/Salesforce sync to improve processefficiencies.Evaluate HubSpot workflows and inbound data tagging for inefficiencies.Managemarketingdata quality, tagging, lead lifecycle, segmentation, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA).Standardizeand document marketing campaign processes and HubSpot workflows.MarketingTechnologyImplement, manage,maintain, and troubleshootmarketing technology (MarTech) platforms - e.g.,marketingautomation(HubSpot), intent data and sales enablement (6Sense and Bombora), chat/scheduling (Drift/Qualified/Chili Piper),andintegrations between allMarTechplatformsand Salesforce, analytics, attribution, and data enrichment tools.Manage the marketing technology platforms to deliver upondemandgenand sales team requests and needs.Ensurethese tools integrate smoothly with each other and with sales, customer success, and data systems.Partner withDemandGen team to updateMarTechprocesses to match market changes.Marketing ReportingManage campaigndataflow andcapture, scopedata requirements and field mapping, and fill in operational and data gaps,to ensure our ability to trackengagement and ROI across all marketing campaigns.Support theDemand Gen Team and Senior Email Marketing & Analytics Strategistwithmarketing performance reports and dashboardsto trackKPIs and other critical marketing metrics.Configuremarketingreports, report types,pagelayouts,picklists, and other low-risk system changesin Salesforcetofacilitatedataand integration needs.Marketing Operations LiaisonAddress the needs and requests of internal stakeholders (primarily demandgenand thesalesteam)including collecting and responding rapidly to platform troubleshooting.ConformwithallITpolicies and procedures,includingchangemanagementpoliciesforany platform configuration changes,new platformadditions, and ongoing information security.Managing tickets and change requests inITservice managementsystem to conform with auditingand compliancepolicies.Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders,demonstratingexceptional internal presence and ability to collaborate effectivelyto driverevenue or achieve Hanover's business goals.QualificationsA minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in marketing operations, with a strong focus onmarketing systems, processes, data, and performance measurementABachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Technology-related field is strongly preferredExceedingly strong organizational skills-proven project management skills tackling multiple projects, clients, and timelinesStrong analytical skills, enabling you totroubleshoot issues withmarketing datacapture, flow, and tagging processesProven experience inMarketingAutomation Platforms(proficiencyin HubSpot isa must),managingautomation processes to ensure smooth operation, and CRM experiencea must(Salesforce)Experience withintent data platforms (6Sense, Bombora) and chat platforms (Drift, Qualified)A deep understanding of data hygiene, analytics, and attributionExperience working in a fast-paced marketing team, and a flexible approach to problem solving and drivingnew solutions. The compensation range for this role at the company is $85,000 - $105,000. Please note that the base salary offered is contingent on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
