Job Title:Master Automotive Technician / MechanicLocation:  2420 Ironwood Dr. Sun Prairie WI 53590Job Overview:We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are energetic upbeat and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing whats right for our guests.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guestContinuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehiclesComplete full accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspectionsWork as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectivelyFollow and promote our high standards of safety cleanliness and organizationWork closely with the service department and effectively communicate  concerns Work together with other technicians to solve problems meet deadlines and deliver distinguished resultsQualifications : Qualifications: Minimum 5 years in high-level diagnostic workASE Certifications preferred or a plan to achieve Master L1 A Tech preferredProficiency with electrical diagnostics and ability to read schematicsAbility to produce 50-60 hours per weekA desire for long-term career developmentMust be able to work on and diagnose all makes and modelsMust have own toolbox and toolsMust have a valid drivers license and be insurableAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentLow comeback rateAbility to be a team player and help all technicians grow and learnCoachability from peers and supervisorsPositive can-do attitudeHigh level of proficiency with technologyFamiliarity with various manufacturer software and scan toolsHigh attention to detailAbility to clearly communicate the steps of work done on vehicles through electronic meansA positive attitude and a desire to serve guestsAptitude for learning additional skills and processesProfessional appearance and strong communicationPhysical Requirements:Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 poundsBe able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their headMust be able to stand for most of the shiftMust be able to crouch squat and kneel for short periods of timeWork in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicles needed repairHave the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand toolsWalk/stand for the majority of their workdayDrive manual transmissions vehiclesEfficiently navigate a computerAdditional Information : Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency integrity and a philosophy of people first.
