APPLY TODAY Master Electrician - Data Center Facilities Direct Client Hire Permanent Role We are seeking an experienced Master Electrician to lead maintenance operations and infrastructure performance across multiple mission-critical facilities, including large-scale data centers. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical and facility systems. Hybrid role - onsite at least 2 days per week Key Responsibilities Oversee electrical infrastructure across buildings and data centers, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards Lead and supervise daily operations across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility systems Serve as the technical expert for high-voltage systems, UPS, generators, and switchgear Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure maximum uptime Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams in a mission-critical environment Develop and maintain SOPs, MOPs, and safety procedures Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, NEC, and CIP standards Lead emergency response efforts and resolve critical incidents Manage vendors, budgets, and infrastructure upgrade projects Track and report performance metrics and system reliability Required Qualifications Valid Master Electrician License (State of Texas) 8+ years of experience in facilities maintenance 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role Strong experience in data centers or mission-critical environments Deep knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, redundancy, and backup systems (UPS/generators) Experience with CMMS, BMS, or data center monitoring tools (e.g., dcTrack) Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards (NFPA, OSHA, NEC, CIP) Preferred Qualifications Degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field Certifications such as PMP, NICET, or LEED Experience with capital projects and infrastructure upgrades What We're Looking For A hands-on leader who can take ownership of critical infrastructure, lead teams effectively, and ensure operational excellence in a high-availability environment.
