Gerald Nell Inc - Electrical Division Manager

Position Overview:

As the Electrical Division Manager with Gerald Nell Inc, you will manage 1-2 other electricians and quote jobs as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings. You will work on a variety of electrical systems, ensuring all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide estimates for scope of work for each project.

• Manage, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, panels, lighting, controls, and power distribution systems in commercial and industrial settings.

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
• Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and team members to complete work efficiently and accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, explaining work performed, and offering preventative maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, labor hours, and job completion details.

• This is a full-time position where you will work in both the office and the field as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin Master Electrician License.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, and Wisconsin regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift, carry, and work with electrical equipment, tools, and materials.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with commercial and industrial electrical installations.
• Familiarity with modern electrical tools, testing equipment, and technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
