You will play a vital role in maintaining smooth operations on the production floor by supporting equipment reliability coordinating with team members and maintaining high standards for workplace organization.Leadership PrinciplesOur principles guide how we work and interactboth with each other and with our customers. This includes creating pallet patterns transporting pallets via forklift managing product flow and ensuring workplace safety and cleanliness. The role supports continuous improvement equipment care and team coordination to maintain efficient and consistent operations.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesEquipment Operation & MaintenanceOperate and maintain robotic palletizing equipmentManage product flow to ensure steady line operationPerform routine maintenance and basic equipment troubleshootingCreate pallet patterns and verify proper pallet configurationsOperate a forklift to transport finished palletsQuality Safety & CleanlinessEnsure quality standards are met throughout operationsMaintain a clean organized and safe working environmentHandle chemicals and equipment safely according to proceduresSupport adherence to cleanliness GMPs and safety protocolsTeam & Process SupportCommunicate effectively with team members to maintain workflowAssist with labeling systems manual and computer-based inputsSupport continuous improvement activities and plant initiativesPerform additional duties as assigned to support operationsSpecial RequirementsStrong manual dexterity and mental acuityGood physical condition; able to perform tasks with moderate physical effortValid forklift drivers license (or ability to obtain through certification with McCain)Ownership of required tools (as specified by Supervision)Ability to work independently and take initiativeWillingness to participate in continuing education programsAttention to safety and care in handling equipmentScope of AuthorityAll employees have the right to question or refuse a work-related directive that is unsafeAll employees are expected to take appropriate actions to ensure the safety of people products and equipmentRequired Education Knowledge Skills & Abilities (Competencies)Strong understanding of robotic system operation and troubleshootingExperience with conveyor and labeling systemsAbility to perform preventative maintenance and equipment careEffective leadership communication and decision-making skillsProficiency with manual and computer-based machine inputsKnowledge of safe chemical and equipment handlingUnderstanding of safety cleanliness and quality standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsProlonged periods of standing and walkingFrequent bending reaching and twistingAbility to work in cold and loud environmentsSafe operation of necessary equipment and toolsThe McCain ExperienceWe are McCain: this statement is about our power collectively and our importance individuallyyour impact is a significant part of the business.
