This position requires a deep understanding of automotive systems and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.Master Mechanic Duties and ResponsibilitiesVehicle Diagnosis: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in various types of vehicles.Repairs and Maintenance: Perform complex and precise repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other automotive components.Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive problems efficiently, using advanced technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.Supervision and Training: Mentor and provide guidance to junior mechanics, ensuring their skills and knowledge align with industry standards.Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards, conducting post-repair inspections to verify the integrity of the work.Parts Management: Manage inventory, order replacement parts, and maintain accurate records of all vehicle repairs and maintenance activities.Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repair options, costs, and timelines, and providing exceptional service to build trust and loyalty.Master Mechanic Requirements and QualificationsA high school diploma or equivalent with a valid Master Mechanic certification or ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification.A minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive mechanic, with a proven track record of handling complex repairs.Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and specialized automotive repair software.In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electronics, and modern vehicle technologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers clearly.
