As an Auto Mechanic, you must have an in-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and components. You will also be responsible for maintaining repair shop equipment and maintaining a welcoming environment for all.
The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, be able to explain vehicle issues clearly and concisely and provide valuable advice.
Work will be partly in shop, and partly on the road. Service vehicle will be provided for all mobile work. The ideal candidate will have the ability to talk to customers while on the road and create a sense of trust in our service, as well as be courteous, clean, and respectful. Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair vehicles coming into the shop
- Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
- Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
- Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner
- Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
- Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills are required
