Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!This role is part of Blue Origin Operations which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain Test Operations Safety Quality and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of specialists you will be responsible for all aspects of creating analyzing and communicating detailed production schedules using industry standard scheduling software. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Leaders Engineering Supply Chain and Production Control to ensure work is efficiency planned with all risks identified.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise leadership skills and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities Include:Develops the master production schedule at the program and enterprise level based on program and customer ask dates labor and machine resource availability and expected make/buy part availability lead time.Manages the customer and material planner relationships to align the customer demand to the manufacturing production schedule. Provides Production Control detailed information to ensure scheduled completion dates align with actual work center capacities capabilities and historical performance.Aligns work scope to the company and Global Supply Chain (GSC) and strives to improve based on the weekly metricsWhen schedule recovery is necessary identifies and analyzes solutions and bottlenecks including forward and reverse scheduling methods.Works closely with production team to determine the needs and constraints of the manufacturing shop floor technicians and schedules work accordingly.Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Program Management Quality Assurance Manufacturing Purchasing and Engineering to ensure production and customer specifications are accurate and production schedules are timely.Monitors status and provides regular updates to management on issues and solutions in order to meet goals and reduce the lead times and cost.Updates visual management boards with current job/program status.Performs schedule and scope variance analysis and reviews MRP execution.Works on problems of varied scope where analysis of data requires evaluation and judgement.Mentors and assists other planners.Qualifications:Passion for our mission of reducing the cost to space and vision: Millions of people living and working in space!BA/BS Production Management Business Management Industrial Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management preferred.Minimum 5 years scheduling experience within an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred.Read and understands technical documents including blueprints andschematics.Experience in creating and maintaining schedules with automation.Able to work full time schedule including occasional travel overtime or on-call work.Based upon job duties may need to work in various areas that may cause exposure to fumes dust toxic or caustic chemicals (well below OSHA exposure guidelines) outdoor weather moving mechanical parts and/or be part of a hearing conservation program due to noise levels around certain equipment.Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.Digital literacyDesired Skills and Experience:Manufacturing Lead supplier management program management experience highly desired.Excellent computer skills with MS Excel Power Query SQL MS Office MS Project Tableau and ERP experience with MRP execution desired.Automation of SchedulesBusiness Analytics and Report generationExcellent written /verbal communications skillsDemonstrates understanding and is able to apply continuous improvement terminology/tools: LEAN Six Sigma principles/DFSS/Lean design principles Value Stream and KCompensation Range for:WA applicants is $100997.00-$141395.10Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDont meet all desired requirements Studies have shown that some people are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single desired qualification.
