The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controlled special inspections and possess the necessary certifications to perform the required inspections. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in special inspections with a well-established and reputable company.Key Responsibilities:· Perform structural special inspections in compliance with NYC Building Code and other applicable standards.· Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports in a timely manner.· Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and clients to ensure inspections are performed accurately and efficiently.· Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.Required Certifications:· ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician (Grade 1)· ACI Concrete Special Inspector or ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector· ICC Reinforced Masonry Special Inspector· ICC Structural Steel and Bolting· ICC Structural Welding· ICC Prestressed Concrete (recommended)· Valid OSHA 30-hour trainingQualifications:· At least 3-5 years of experience in special inspections or related field.· Bachelor's degree in CIVIL/STRUCTURAL engineering· Strong understanding of construction practices and materials testing.· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.· Excellent communication and reporting skills.· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites within the NYC area.Salary: $100,000-$120,000Benefits:· Competitive salary based on experience and certifications.· Paid time off and holidays· Health Benefits· 401K· Aflac· Flexible Spending Account· Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
