Job Description
The Material & Inv Planning & Cont Assistant is accountable for planning coordinating and managing inventory and production data entry to ensure efficient operations. They work closely with various departments including production logistics and procurement to streamline processes and meet customer demandsKEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInventory and Order Management:Processes production entries and updates material production requirements.Interfaces with inventory control for scheduling and availability.Monitor stock levels track shipments and update inventory records.Maintain inventory databases and generate reports for management.Serves as backup for IC transfer transactionsServes as backup for delivery orders releasesParticipates and leads Continues Improvement innitiativesProduction Planning and Management:Reviews sales orders against current requirements and work in process.Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability.Releases production orders for materials and purchases.Collaboration and Additional Responsibilities:Interfaces with manufacturing personnel purchasing and supervisors for material status and production planning.Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.Manages special projects as designated by the Plant Manager.Stock Audits:Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies. Qualifications : Act consistently with CBBs Values (Safety Integrity & Inclusion) and Behaviors & Mindsets (Customer-Centricity Interconnectedness Continuous Improvement).EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred. 1 to 2 years of experience in production planning/materials controls function or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some knowledge of manufacturing environment preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting Capacity ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Mobility prolonged periods of time on feet standing bending etc. Exposure moving mechanical parts fumes airborne particles and non-climate-controlled environment. Noise Tolerance high noise levels.To perform satisfactorily in this position the employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
