JOB TITLE: Material Coordinator LOCATION: San Antonio TX PAY RATE: $27.22/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Job Details: Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension) Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation Benefits: Medical dental and vision (Cigna) Perks: Bonus potential Priority access via Tier 1 supplier Openings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S. Qualifying Questions: Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary Summary: Process verify route store order deliver and track materials and supplies. Perform shipping receiving inspecting driving and material-handling tasks. Read and interpret work orders part lists specs and shipping/receiving documents. Document and maintain material requisitions and picking instructions. Perform basic math for counting and inventory tasks. Operate hand tools and fabricate special containers as required. Operate vehicles and GSE equipment (forklifts tow motors side loaders etc.). Use computers to input retrieve and track inventory data. Operate barcode readers packing equipment cranes hoists and other handling tools. Consolidate kit and prepare parts for storage and shipment (including hazardous materials). Conduct inventory counts and report damage/deterioration. Support problem-solving related to material availability scheduling and configuration. Comply with safety tool control FOD housekeeping contract and inventory regulations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. 2 3 years of stockroom or crib procedures experience. 3 years using computer-based inventory or warehouse management systems. 1 years managing government property (acquisition receiving movement disposition etc.). Ability to use warehouse equipment. Ability to support rotating shifts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint). Lift up to 35 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs with two-person lift). Work on ladders elevated platforms and in confined spaces. Frequent walking standing overhead reaching balancing bending squatting crawling. Operate foot controls and handle materials including metals and hazardous materials. Use required PPE and pass vision and color-perception tests. Tolerate noise and varying environmental conditions. Read write and understand English; obtain/maintain required certifications. Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
