Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually transact material. Document system issues process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicating with quality control purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems. Efficiently move material between sites both physically and virtually. Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers. Meet safety productivity and quality standards by following best practices. Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself. Learn new processes. Operate equipment including: forklifts pallet jacks electric pallet jacks and hand carts. Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures.Additional requirements Shift schedule may vary depending on program needs and may include a weekend day. Standing for long periods of time climbing up and down ladders bending grasping sitting pulling pushing stooping and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.A day in the lifeThe Amazon Leo team is looking for motivated customer-focused individuals who want to join us as a Material Coordinator. You will be responsible for processing materials in order to support our customer the satellite production team. You will also interact with peer teams such as planning quality and EHS to ensure our processes result in positive outcomes for these teams. The base pay for this position ranges from $52000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $66560/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
