Our certified and highly-skilled teams specialize in structural steel design engineering detailing fabrication erection and retrofit to existing structural members.The Material Handler is responsible for supporting the fabrication shop with various duties such as loading and unloading steel from trucks transferring steel to production table and using a forklift as needed.DAILY RESPONSIBILITIESOperate forklift as neededPerforms rigging work including jacking and stakingLoad and unload steel from trucksLoad steel to transfer tables to feed production linePerform other duties as required to support the fabrication shopREQUIREMENTSMust have experience with overhead cranes.Experience using and operating a forklift is required.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers clients and supervisors.Works in compliance with Kinsleys safety policies and procedures.Must be flexible to work 2nd shift as well as overtime and Saturdays as needed.Basic math skills are required.Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment.Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours.Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.Kinsley Steel Inc. is a Drug Free Workplace where post-offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Kinsley Steel Inc. is a participant in the Federal E-Verify Program.
