Material Handler

Tamarac, FL | 1st Shift | Manufacturing Environment

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support machining, welding, and assembly operations by ensuring materials are delivered, moved, and stored accurately and efficiently. This role is essential to keeping production running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Supply production areas with required materials and remove completed inventory
• Pick parts per production orders and deliver finished goods to proper bin locations
• Load/unload materials and assist welders as needed
• Move materials between trucks, storage, and work cells
• Identify and track WIP, partial deliveries, and MTO/custom items
• Verify quantities against production and purchase orders
• Maintain inventory accuracy using ERP/SAP
• Operate sit-down forklift and handle material movement safely

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of material handling experience
• 2 years of sit-down forklift experience
• ERP experience (SAP preferred)
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and carry up to 50 lbs

Schedule & Work Environment:

• MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM
• Non-air-conditioned manufacturing facility
• Steel-toe boots and required safety PPE

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tamarac, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
