Material Handler B Shift at ADDMAN Engineering

POSITION SUMMARY:The Material Handler uses industrial equipment to plan prepare stage and load materials (such as resins) within the material prep area. The Material handler keeps an inventory of all material and communicates with the Materials Supervisor for inventory planning.Shift Hours: Monday -Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pmESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Proper preparation (drying and/or mixing) of resins for productionPrepares resins for use in sampling.Maintain the supply of resins for the mold machinesAccurate record keeping of material handling activities and inventory controlStage materials to be used on the production floorGrind runners and bad partsMaintain 5s duties to stay clean and organizedAssist production as needed in other positionsFollow applicable safety quality and environmental policies and proceduresWear applicable personal protective equipmentActively participate in continual improvement corrective action and customer satisfactionCoordinate material staging and usage with Plastics Operations ManagerUtilize six-sigma quality tools when appropriate to define measure analyze improve and control processes and outcomes.Responsible to maintain & support processes procedures & K.P.I.s owned by your position.Review of all procedures related to your job per HR LG 01 Training MatrixCompletion within time stated of all training required by Job Description in HR LG 01 Training MatrixPerform other duties as assigned.Regular and punctual attendance.Follow all Company policies and procedures.Note: This is not an inclusive list of duties and responsibilitiesRequirementsSKILL REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge in plastic resins and mixing techniquesStrong math skillsAbility to use lifting equipmentFamiliar with weights and measuresAble to maneuver up to 2200 lbs. of material (using equipment) as necessaryAble to follow written and oral instructionBasic computer skillsQUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or equivalentWORK ENVIRONMENT:The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses hearing protection steel toe shoes and other mandatory safety equipment.For the most part ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to lift 75 poundsAbility to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.SAFETY AND POLICY PRACTICES:Each employee must be knowledgeable of standard safety policies and procedures and adhere to the same while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognizing the Companys need to achieve its business objectives.
