As a key member of the material handling team you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.Job Title:Material HandlerReports To:Production Manager Location:Vista CABusiness Unit Description:Vista Manufacturing CenterRole Summary:Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping receiving storing distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise products materials parts supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders examines stocks and distributes merchandise products and materials in inventory warehouses distribution centers or manufacturing lines. Little or no knowledge of the job acquires job skills and procedures to complete routine tasks. Has little judgement and decision making under close supervision.Key Responsibilities:Unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices maintaining records of received goodsRejecting unsatisfactory damaged or defected itemsLifting or moving heavy itemsOperating equipment to move or expedite material to proper department or storage locationStore material in their designated locations after been received in the systemExamining stocks and distributing materials and supplies in inventory to manufacturing linesMonitoring and controlling inventory integrityPreparing goods for final shipment and maintaining records of shipped merchandiseSafety culture orientedParticipate in audits and 5S programBasic knowledge in continuous improvement activitiesInform supervisor or lead of work-related problemsOther duties as assignedCurrently Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g. H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future.
