Material Handler/ Forklift

Job Title: Warehouse Material Handlers (Wire Cutters) Location: Denver, Colorado Type: These positions will start in April and complete at the end of the year There is an opportunity for a permanent career based on attendance and performance

Position Overview

As a Wire Cutter, you will support electrical construction projects by preparing, measuring, and cutting wire or cable to specific customer lengths. Operating specialized machinery in a fast-paced environment, you'll ensure high accuracy, adhere to warehouse safety standards, and perform physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wire Preparation: Operate wire cutting and spooling machines, loading/unloading reels onto spindles.
  • Order Accuracy: Review and interpret orders; verify wire type, size, and color to customer specifications.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
  • Physical Labor: Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and push/pull up to 75 lbs. during handling and transport of materials.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate reach trucks and forklifts to move material (preferred skill).

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous warehouse or wire-cutting experience is preferred.
  • Physical Ability: Able to work in varying temperatures, stand for long periods, and engage in repetitive physical tasks.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements/calculations; basic computer skills are a plus.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Steel toe boots required (must provide your own). Gloves and safety goggles will be provided.

Work Schedule: MondayFriday, 6:00 AM 3:00 PM
