Material Handler I at Johnson Health Tech Companies

Under the direction of the Shipping & Receiving Manager this position moves completed units and stock throughout the shop and completes paperwork as needed.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time:Get departure list and/or written verbal instructions from Shipping & Receiving ManagerMoves completed items throughout the shop using a forkliftUnloads and transfers raw materials to correct departmentsDeliver and pick up material/parts from vendorsRoutes paperwork to appropriate personnelComplete daily forklift checklistMeet the daily production schedule as provided by supervisionAssure that that all raw materials are placed in the correct holding areasRegular and reliable attendanceFollow safety procedures and instructionsMaintain productivity throughout shiftOther duties as assignedRequirementsEducation:High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Experience:Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment as a material handlerMinimum 1 year forklift driving experienceOther Requirements:Must have valid drivers licenseTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
