We specialize in industry leading innovations accompanied by world class service.Job Description Overview:Sensaria is in search of a Material Handler. In this role you will have theprimary responsibility to support the manufacturing process of the organization. This position is responsible for safety quality and throughput. Will also be required to perform labor intensive duties producing products in a timely manner either through a manual or machine based process.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:GENERAL LABOR: 80% of position responsibilityAt the direction of the Lead(s) or Managers; complete all duties as assigned. These include:Manage shipping exceptions as they come out of the work cellsCommunicate with customer service to address issues with ordersManage and ship production Hold ordersManage and ship Customer and Shipping ReturnsMaintain focus on safety ensuring self and other team members are following safety policies and adhering to PPE standardsEnsure all products are being produced to a high level of qualityBe working at a pace consistent with any established throughput rates and/or cycle timesMaintaining housekeeping and 5S MethodologyCommunicate all concerns issues or observations related to safety quality or continuous improvement to lead(s) or manager(s)Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and/or best practicesEQUIPMENT TROUBLESHOOTING: 10% of position responsibilityConduct basic troubleshooting of material handling equipmentWork with leads and maintenance technicians on appropriate repairs of all equipmentWork with leads to ensure basic maintenance and cleanliness of all production equipmentCommunicate machine downtime to leads and assist with the repair as neededCONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: 10% of position responsibilityIdentify and communicate potential process improvements assist BuyerPlanner and Lead(s) on all improvement initiativesIdentify cost savings opportunities and assist BuyerPlanner and Lead(s) on all cost savings initiatives.Commitment to good communication between employees across all shifts to ensure process changes and improvements are implemented consistently and effectivelyOther duties and special projects as assignedWork directly with the BuyerPlanner or Lead(s) on special projects as neededEDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:High School diploma G.E.D or equivalent work experiencePreferred general production experience KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:Fit for doing laborious work for 12 hour shiftsWilling to work on a rotating shift for long hours and overtime as necessaryWilling to learn and put in their best efforts for productionQuality mindedSafety focusedTeam playerCapable of working in demanding situations when requiredExperience working with FilemakerAble to lift and carry up to 49lbs unassisted and 50 plus lbs. with assistanceMust be able to communicate effectively (Some areas/job functions may require English)INTELLECTUAL DEMANDS:Must be able to take directionMust be able to work as a teamWork under compressed timelines and other resource limitationsMust be flexible to learn other duties and positions within the organization and perform these duties at the direction of the Production Manager or LeadBenefits: Sensaria Circle Graphics offers a competitive compensation package which includes vacation days sick days paid holidays a paid floating holiday of your choice paid maternity & paternity leave along with Medical Dental Vision 401K STD LTD Optional Life insurance and opportunities for professional development.
