General areas of responsibility include receiving supplier shipments; picking internal customer orders; shipping, and inventory organization, management and control. Positions in the warehouse are responsible for the efficient use of the organization's storage and distribution facilities. Responsible for inspection, identification, and delivery to stocking locations. Picks and stages finished goods Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) for loading and shipping.Primary Duties:1.      Pick, pack, and deliver orders for direct materials used in Manufacturing and Packaging Lines    2.      Process Stock Transfer Orders to Distribution Center    3.      Move material to storage bins or staging areas with proper equipment following all SOPs    4.      Assure quality, accuracy, and compliance with GMP’s in shipping, receiving and the warehouse operation while maintaining a timely throughput of operations    5.      Accurately receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition    6.      Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner    7.      Handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.    8.      Monitors warehouse space requirements and assist with maintaining proper warehouse utilization    9.      Exhibit safe work habits while maintaining a clean, near and orderly work area    10.    Other responsibilities include data entry, cycle counting, and forklift battery maintenance    11.    Assess safety and environmental risks to ensure tasks adhere to HSE policies and HMS    12.    Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.13.    Performs other duties as assigned.Education, Skills and Experience:High School Diploma, GED or equivalentWarehouse and forklift experience preferredKnowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and use of RF scannersKnowledge of DOT, IATA, ISO, FDADetail orientation to complete tasks without errors and produce high-quality work.Informing others by sharing clear, timely information to ensure alignment.Ability to work cross-functionally allowing for better collaboration and communication when working across teams to achieve shared objectivesEffective verbal communication skillsEasily accessible and open to communicationConsistently uphold and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMérieux promotesWorking Conditions: Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.Ability to operate heavy machinery.Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.Able to safely operate Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) including narrow aisle reach trucks in all directionsMust be able to safely and effectively handle box cutters and/or similar tools The estimated salary range for this role is between $19.00-$24.70. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living.
